The challenge

GGM Gastro wanted to make the organization of meeting rooms at their Ochtrup location more transparent and efficient. Rooms were sometimes booked but left unused, while others were occupied without it being immediately visible.

Employees often had to search for available rooms or unintentionally interrupted ongoing meetings. In the showroom, it also needed to be easier to see which sales consultants were available or already in a consultation.

They were looking for a solution that would make availability visible in real time, simplify bookings, and integrate seamlessly with Microsoft 365 and Outlook.

The solution

Digital room booking and live availability with connectSignage and ProDVX

Using connectSignage and ProDVX, GGM Gastro displays meeting room availability directly at the room. 10-inch touch displays outside the doors show whether a room is free or occupied, which meeting is currently taking place, and which booking follows next. Rooms can be booked directly on the display or via Microsoft 365 and Outlook. Synchronization happens automatically, ensuring all information remains up to date in real time. Availability is also made visible in the showroom: displays show whether sales consultants are free or already in a consultation.

Greater transparency for rooms, consultations, and availability

With connectSignage and ProDVX, GGM Gastro can see at a glance which meeting rooms are free, occupied, or already reserved for the next appointment. Employees can find rooms faster, book them more easily, and use them more efficiently. Live availability also provides better orientation in the showroom.
